an afternoon reminiscent on old chinatown

lunching at the old chinatown hwaker center really brings back good memories. i remember the times when my whole family would enjoy a hot bowl of slice fish with rice noodles, served with dishes like slice fish and kai lan and fried seafood noodles. but that was in the past. any how i was fortunate to have a wonderful lunch with my dad there. we ate this really nice steamed chicken and sausage rice. the stall was run by hongkong folks that cooked authentic cantonese steam rice. next stop was dessert at "er gu's tang sui". this stall came to be in the 1970s, selling at the roadsides too. their famous peanut and sesame seed hu draws crowds to this obscure corner in the hawker center. their peanut hu was exceptionally fine, without any grains of peanut residue. simply wonderful. but the down side was the price. $1 for a tiny bowl thats probably as small as a kid's mesak toy bowl. the steep price didnt deter me for another serving of hot almond milk, a speciality there. heavenly, it has this transcending feeling. this was my mum's favourite stall, she ate their dessert since, hmmm.. a long time ago. she always stops by the stall for a bowl whenever she's in chinatown.
saturday's always lunch with dad unless i have other plans. and sunday's sis and mum.
aye, im still contemplating on when to start my creative writing journal.

blogging day 2.

i guess im not creative. i can't think of anything to spice up this tasteless blog. blogging sucks. but i have too. for creative writing. i guess ill have to start my creative writing journals soon or ill never complete the 20 entries required by my teacher.

friday suxs. last week i almost missed my biostat lecture at 9. today i totally missed it. overslept. stupid alarm clock. lol if my tudi didnt sms me to ask me to help her mark attendance, i probably would have slept till 11 or something. the project is still in the works. probably it will be completed by jan. i really need to do some basic maths again, i tend to forget them easily. 1s is 1000ms, 1ms is 1000us, 1000/125 = 8. i feel so stupid. start laughing. been driving quite a bit today. my dad doesnt use the car now and i can use to my hearts content. just luv to drive at night. the dim lights, cool air con, seeing the neighbourhood at night and listening to wonderful music simply roxs. next time ill drive to the bridge next to esplanade and take some pics.

my first entry since eons.

Argh! Lost all my old post in my other blog. Bah i guess this new one would suffice. Too lazy to make any skins. Maybe i'll work on a flash and try to make this blog appealing. Anyway this blog was made to make my creative writing journal entries easy to write. So my next few entries will be written with grammer and vocab usage in mind. Most importantly there will be none of the colloquial languages in them to ease the submission of my journals, omitting the need to rephrase those words to legitimate english. Any comments will be deeply appreciated, be it good or bad. Would prefer bad though, if not i can't improve. O any of my friends reading this without his/her blog links advertised on my blog please do message me your blog urls. I'll be more then happy to add them to this boring, bland, unexciting and flavourless website with your cool and groovy links. I guess i have written enough crap to bore you to the point of you yawning like the lions, so i'll stop now.
