2nd july

Every single day, 30,000 children die, needlessly, of extreme poverty.
On July 6th, we finally have the opportunity to stop that shameful statistic.
8 world leaders, gathered in Scotland for the G8 summit, will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop the debt and make the trade laws fair. If these 8 men agree, then we will become the generation that made poverty history.
But they'll only do it if enough people tell them to.
That's why we're staging Live 8. 10 concerts, 100 artists, a million spectators, 2 billion viewers, and 1 message... To get those 8 men, in that 1 room, to stop 30,000 children dying every single day of extreme poverty.
the greatest show on earth. 5 concerts, 100 artists, millions of spectators, 2 billion viewers, 1 message. here are the concert locations, click on the links to see who's performing.

olivia ong
sg singer!

this ger probably beats the crap out of taufik or sly's singing a hundred fold. i was sampling a cd in hmv the other day and i heard a cd called " girl meets bossanova". i thought it was good but the price was rather steep at $22.30. it was only later then i realise it was a singapore ger! hidden talents in this lion city. there's a feature on CNA u can check it out. or u can watch a clip of her MV at here. According to Taufik, Olivia sang the National Anthem at the 2006 Fifa World Cup Asian qualifying rounds in Japan last year. aGentX has some sample songs from her debut album in his blog. Soothing music. o if u didn't know already taufik has a blog! check it out too.

smelly breeze.
BO.

advice 1.
never seat at the bus stop at 12midnight alone and wait for a bus.
advice 2.
if you see a big sized man taking a seat upwind from you, don't panic.
advice 3.
take a glance at the man n see if his perspiring.
advice 4.
if he is, run.
advice 5.
if you didn't take my fourth advice because you will miss your last bus, hold ur breath n call an ambulance.
advice 6.
if you didn't take my fourth n fifth advice and you see the man pinching his nose, you probably dunno wad is upwind. Call the ambulance anyway, he will need it.
advice 7.
if you or the man is not unconscious yet and the bus is still not here, flag a cab because the bus is not coming.

"in my father's den"
clever, superb!

this show just roxs big time. different from the usual action fighting suspense and wad have you. this new zealand made movie beats the crap out of the movies i watched this year. if u like a good plot and great directing, this is the one for u. action n horror fans sorry, u won't find any here. i shalln't spoil the fun by telling u the plot. go watch it. wad i can tell u is it starts slow and builds up to a big climax. a twist if u like. feels abit like an artistic film. probably the few shows that made me think alot after the movie. i shall end here and go ponder on the characters in the film. adieu amigos.
