Saturday afternoon, one would expect the hawker centers to be empty after lunch hours. But be surprised when you step into henderson hawker center. Its teeming with people. Not for the purpose of food but another agenda. The tables were filled with people, mostly in their 50s. They were reading newspapers and having a cupa tea/beer. There were discussions and loads of activity happening. I was watching from a table enjoying me lunch when I notice a guy walking to every table, telling them something. The people at the table would give him a response of some sort. Illegal betting of horse racing. It was like a scene from a Jack neo's movie. It was interesting watching them. Anyway, I was there for the sole purpose of enjoying the 'you ji mien'. The chicken just roxs, but the hor fun at Ghim Moh's Ipoh Hor Fun is much better (melts in your mouth). Highly recommended. 3/5 stars.
