brought angel to the botanic gardens today. had loads of fun, frolicking on the greens infront of the symphony stage(sadly still under construction). couldn't rest a teeny bit, angel just needs loads of care and attention. im getting used to calling her princess angel. too bad our date got cut short by the ensuing rain. aye i highly recommend the laska at the cafe. think the cafe's called au jardine or les amis.

aye tired of bbq? steamboat? or potluck? i got just the right thing for you. my in laws had a great idea for a dinner: backyard cooking. not exactly the backyard but open air balcony. they happen to stay at a hdb "penthouse" with a superb balcony that had a wonderful view to boot. unobstructed view of mac ritchie and beyond. not a single highrise blocking the 270 degrees balcony. the nearest would be the uob building at the CBD. the sun was setting as i lean against the balcony wall admiring the marvelous spectacle. the sun was disappearing behind the forestry and winds started to pick up. the breezes made the balcony really cool. we started our 'backyard' cooking. we took turns cooking a variety of dishes: fried rice, seafood, meats and etc. it was like jamie de la floyd. i must say it was darn fun cooking and letting others try your food. and at the same time trying what the others cooked. we even had a little cooking tip session from my sis's mum-in-law. seriously, you guys reading this should try it. something different and fun! anyway after a delightful dinner, we sat down savouring guavas and chatting under the stars. the astonishing view of the stars here rivals that of the eastern coast. tilt my headup and i see the stars glittering. what a great way to relax after dinner. enuff said. i better start eating my supper now before it gets cold. prata from thompson just roxs!
heh. and you thought angel was a person didn't you?
